Transfer from Another Post-Secondary Institution
- Students intending to transfer to VIU from other BC post-secondary institutions are encouraged to consult the BC Transfer Guide for current information on transferable courses. The BC Transfer Guide also provides information on transfers from some institutions outside of BC
- Students who transfer to VIU to complete a bachelor degree must meet the VIU Residency Requirement.
- Transfer students are encouraged to meet with the BSc Degree Advisor soon upon receiving an offer of admission from VIU
Internal Transfer from Another VIU Program
Students already at VIU who want to transfer to the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology are encouraged to meet with the BSc Degree Advisor. Exemptions from some degree requirements may be available for students transferring from the Fisheries and Aquaculture, Forestry, or Resource Management and Protection diploma programs.
